EduCase Computer System Requirements

1. Minimum Computer System Recommendations:
   1. Platform: Windows XP or Vista and Mac OS X
   2. Pentium III processor 1.8GHz or greater
   3. 512 MB Ram or greater (1.00 GB or greater preferred)
   4. 100 MB of disk space or greater
   5. 1024x768 Pixel Screen Resolution or greater
2. Online Browser Requirements:
   1. Install Adobe Flash Player: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/  (Flash Player plug-in is required to run web based and desktop EduCase application).
   2. Update Web Browser to latest version (recommended to run web-based EduCase for higher performance):
      1. Mozilla Firefox 3.0.10, English (US), Windows (7.1MB) or later: http://www.mozilla.com/products/download.html
      2. Windows Internet Explorer 8 or later: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/Internet-explorer/
      3. Opera 9.64: http://www.opera.com/download/
      4. Google Chrome : http://www.google.com/chrome
   3. Enable JavaScript (JavaScript is required to run web-based EduCase).
      1. Mozilla Corporation’s Firefox version 2 or greater
         1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
         2. On the Content tab, click to select the Enable JavaScript check box.
         3. Click the Go back one page button to return to the previous page, and then click the Reload current page button to run scripts.
      2. Internet Explorer (6.0) or greater
         1. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options, and then click the Security tab.
         2. Click the Internet zone.
         3. If you do not have to customize your Internet security settings, click Default Level.
         4. Click Custom Level.
         5. In the Security Settings – Internet Zone dialog box, click Enable for Active Scripting in the Scripting section.
         6. Click the Back button to return to the previous page, and then click the Refresh button to run scripts.
      3. Opera Software’s Opera version 9 or greater
         1. On the Tools menu, click Preferences.
         2. On the Advanced tab, click Content.
         3. Click to select the Enable JavaScript check box, and then click OK.
         4. Click the Back button to return to the previous page, and then click the Reload button to run scripts.
      4. Apple Safari (1.0) or greater
         1. Select 'Edit' from the top menu
         2. Choose 'Preferences'
         3. Choose 'Security'
         4. Select the checkbox next to 'Enable JavaScript'
