Continuing Medical EducationPhysiciansThe American Society for Radiology Oncology is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. ASTRO designates this educational activity for a maximum of 9.0 AMA PRA Category 1 credits™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Technologists/DosimetristsApplication has been made to the American Society of Radiologic Technologists for designated of Category A continuing education credit. This program will be held at the ASTRO Annual Meeting in Los Angeles and is designed to provide crucial clinical education for professionals to provide an opportunity to discuss issues such as imaging and target delineation, quality assurance and its frequency, and achievable accuracy in each major disease site. Participants have the opportunity to practice contouring and compare their contours to those of experienced professional faculty and technical support.
